Enable Hidden Files in cPanel’s File Manager

By default files starting with a period in their name such as .htaccess are not shown in the cPanel’s File Manager. But you can change a setting to show those files.

Step 1 – Login to your hosting account.

Step 2 – Click Hosting, then cPanel.

That’s it! Now cPanel’s File Manager will show you all files including files starting with a period in the name.
